Regulations

  1. La Garba Cycling Club will organise La Garba, a non-competitive cycling route. The start and finish line will be in l’Ampolla (Ebro Delta).
  2. The event has different distances, approximately:
    Lo Manoll 83km +60m / La Garba 123km +80m / Lo Cabrit 130km +1550m / La Cabra 226km +3920m /  Lo Flamenc 343km + 5410m
  3. The route will not be physically signposted and the participants will follow it through the track that the organisation will provide them with. The route will be a surprise until a few days before the event, the tracks will be sent to registered participants via email.
  4. There will be some refreshment points.
  5. Registered participants will be able to collect their participant’s bag and race bib, within the timetable established by the organisation in the corresponding section of the website. You must present your ID card, or show a photocopy of it in the case of picking up the bib of another registered person.
  6. The route is opened to traffic at all times, the participant must respect the General Traffic Regulations in force.
  7. The route is suitable for gravel or mtb bikes. Electric bicycles are allowed to participate.
  8. Registration for any modality of the race is personal and non-transferable, and implies the acceptance of all the articles of these regulations, as well as the conditions of purchase. Registrations will be closed when the limit established by the organisers is reached, or on the Friday before the race.
  9. Cancellation insurance: in the event of cancellation, the organisation will only refund the registration fee if the participant concerned has paid the cancellation insurance at the time of registration, which is set at 10€ and which will be deposited for the costs incurred. This refund will only be made up to 15 days before the start of the race. After this date no registration fee will be refunded.
  10. The organisation has a civil liability insurance in accordance with current legislation. All participants will have an accident insurance contracted by the organisation. This insurance will cover the following points:
    Unlimited medical assistance for sports accidents in Spanish territory.
    Disability according to the scale for sports accidents up to 12.000€.
    Death due to sporting accident up to 6.000€.
    Notification of the sporting accident must be on the same day as the sporting event. Coverage for medical or medical-surgical assistance will only be in the health care centres agreed by the insurance company.
  11. By registering for the event, participants give their consent for La Garba Cycling Club, by itself or through third parties, specially SB HOTELS SPAIN S.L., to automatically process their personal data for exclusively sporting, promotional or commercial purposes. In order to renounce to this transfer, the participant will have to express it in the registration form at the moment of registration. In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons, have implemented those policies, means and technical and organisational procedures to ensure and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the personal data of its users. The participant has the right to access these files in order to rectify or cancel all or part of their content. To do so, he/she must request it in writing by sending an e-mail to info@lagarba.com.

  12. The organization is not responsible for damages due to physical, moral and/or material damage that may affect the participants and/or
    spectators during the bodybuilding route, although it will ensure that they are avoided.

  13. The participant performs the test under his sole responsibility. Likewise, he states that he is in optimal physical condition for the development of the test and that he does not suffer from any disease that could put his physical integrity at risk. The participant acknowledges that he has been informed by the organization of all the characteristics of the activity (physical, psychological, material, site, etc.) and performs it with full knowledge of them, likewise acknowledges that the activity carried out may imply a high physical requirement and can have unforeseeable consequences for health.

  14. The participant exempts, in any case, the organization from claims or demands for accidents or illnesses that they may contract or aggravate during the race, due to actions or omissions, personal or material damage, and, without limitation, theft, theft or deterioration of material that may occur due to their own acts, by other participants, or even during the development of the activity.

  15. In no case will the registration money be returned, unless the test is suspended by decision of the organization, for reasons attributable to it and/or for reasons related to the Coronavirus pandemic. In the cases described above, the registration price will be refunded minus 5€ of the management cost.

  16. Given extraordinary inclement weather or causes of force not attributable to the organization and that make it impossible to hold the course, the organization will not assume any responsibility and will not make a refund of the registration fee.

  17. For the simple fact of being registeres in one of the distances of the test, the totality of these regulations is accepted. The one that is not foreseen, will be subject to the decision of the organization.

  18. In case of reserving the allotjament through our platform, the balance of the allotjament package must be paid at the time of formalizing the reservation in the registration form for the test. In case the payment is not received, the reserve cap is not formalized. There is the option of
    contracting a cancellation insurance, with which it will proceed to reimburse the cost of the allowance in case of cancellation by the participant. This insurance will be valid until 15 days before the test is held. In cap cases, the part corresponding to the import of the insurance will be refundable. In case of not contracting the cancellation insurance, the organization will not make a refund if the package d’allotjament is cancelled.
